Tata Motors announced the launch of XPRES-T EV Electric Sedan Car for the Commercial Market, Fleet Customers, Taxi Services, Mobility Services on 15th September 2021
Here, it is to be noted that Tata Motors already introduced its new sub Brand “XPRES” in July 2021 especially cater to Commercial & Fleet Customer Segment
Tata XPRES-T EV is the new Electric Sedan from “XPRES” brand range which is basically the facelift version of Gasoline Driven Tata Tigor

XPRES-T EV is available in two Range options named XPresT 165 and XPresT 213
XPresT 165 comes in two variants XM & XZ. Similarly, XPresT 213 also comes in two variants XM+ & XZ+

Tata XPRES-T EV is available in TWO Battery Options. XPresT 165 comes with 16.5 KWh Battery Pack, whereas XPresT 213 comes with 21.5KWh Battery Pack
The Electric Sedan is housed with a 72 V 3-Phase AC Induction Motor that produces a Maximum Power of 30 kW (40 hp) @ 4500 rpm & a Peak Torque of 105 Nm @ 2500 rpm
The main difference between XPRES-T EV and the newly launched Tigor EV is that, the Tigor EV comes with Tata’s Signature ZIPTRON Powertrain using 55KW Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMS) Motor that operates on 300 V of high Voltage

XPresT 165 (with 16.5 KWh Battery) gives a Driving Range of 165 Kms (ARAI Certified) & XPresT 213 (with 21.5 KWh Battery) gives a Driving Range of 213 Kms (ARAI Certified)
XPRES-T EV achieves a top speed of 80 Kms/hr
Charging Time
Regular Charging Time is 11 to 12 hours from 0% to 100% through any 15A Plug Point Charger at Home or Office
Fast Charging Time is just 90 Minutes (XPresT 165) and 110 Minutes (XPresT 213) from 0% to 80% through any 15KW Fast Charging Station
The Charging standard used in this Electric Car is BEVC-AC001 (For Both AC Charging & DC Fast Charging)
Tata Motors is expanding its EV Fast Charging Stations Network throughout India at a very fast speed. The Charging Stations which were just 60 Nos. in January 2020 has been reached at 640+ in August 2021 across India
